Senior User Researcher (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; hybrid office attendance required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead high-impact generative and evaluative research across product development, brand strategy, and marketing.
• Embed AI-native practices and tools across the end-to-end research workflow.
• Conduct usability testing, ethnographic research, surveys, segmentation, message testing, brand tracking, and concept validation.
• Lead company-wide Voice of the Customer sessions and communicate actionable customer insights to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Manage research contractors, vendors, agencies, budgets, and quality control across multiple workstreams.
• Build research enablement tools, templates, and guidance while coaching designers, marketers, product managers, and other non-researchers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in user research spanning product, marketing, and brand research.
• Deep proficiency in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, statistical analysis, and generative and evaluative research.
• Hands-on experience moderating user interviews.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and agencies across multiple workstreams.
• Expert knowledge of AI research tools, UserTesting, and SurveyMonkey.
• Fluent English, written and verbal, required.
