Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; full-time hybrid role.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead complex product initiatives from problem framing, discovery, and user journey mapping through high-fidelity prototypes and production delivery.
• Partner with product management, engineering, and leadership to shape the roadmap, translate business goals into design solutions, and define success metrics.
• Plan and conduct research with family caregivers and synthesize qualitative feedback, behavioral data, usability testing, and analytics.
• Establish and evolve scalable design systems, component libraries, and information architecture across the platform.
• Prepare design specifications, address edge cases, and collaborate with engineers on feasible, high-quality implementation.
• Design adaptive AI-driven and human-in-the-loop experiences that reduce caregivers’ administrative and emotional burden.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive product design experience shipping impactful digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual UI craft, complex problem-solving, and an end-to-end design process.
• Experience building or significantly contributing to scalable enterprise-grade design systems.
• Strong understanding of technical constraints, system architecture, and front-end feasibility.
• Excellent storytelling, facilitation, workshop, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep empathy for users and genuine commitment to empowering family caregivers.
