Inside Sales Engineer (Industrial Instrumentation)

What you will do

• Manage incoming customer service calls, screen inquiries, and route them to the appropriate internal teams.
• Serve as a primary contact for customer questions and provide timely, professional responses.
• Prepare and revise customer quotations using Sales input, pricing rules, and product knowledge.
• Convert approved quotations into orders in QuoteWerks and process customer orders in Sage 50.
• Route completed orders for processing or return them to Sales when purchase order revisions are needed.
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing, order, and transaction documentation, while supporting production and order processing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with customer service, order management, inside sales support, or ERP systems is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
• Exposure to structured or controlled processes is preferred; SOX awareness is a plus.
