Postdoctoral Research Associate - Molecular Oncology (Cancer Biology)

What you will do

• Develop and lead an independent research project under direct scientific mentorship.
• Use drug-controlled, degradable, oncogene-induced mouse tumor models to investigate oncogenesis, tumor maintenance, and metastasis.
• Design and conduct molecular biology and tissue culture experiments, interpret findings, and advance scientific discovery in cancer biology.
• Study chromatin architecture, non-coding cis-regulatory elements, RNA-binding proteins, and long non-coding RNAs involved in oncogene regulation.
• Write grant proposals and scientific manuscripts, prepare publications, and give research talks.
• Potentially mentor summer students, rotation students, or interns.

Requirements

• PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant biomedical science discipline.
• Strong laboratory skills in molecular biology and tissue culture.
• Passion for science, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for cancer biology research.
• Collaborative, considerate, and team-oriented approach.
• Experience with animal husbandry is highly encouraged.

• Willingness to learn bioinformatics skills.
