What you will do

• Design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret complex studies on bone and soft tissue regeneration.
• Develop hypotheses and experimental approaches across molecular biology, cell biology, histology, imaging, and animal research.
• Generate reproducible data using mammalian cell culture, mouse models, microscopy, and advanced molecular techniques.
• Analyze complex datasets and prepare publication-quality figures and first-author manuscripts.
• Contribute to fellowship and grant applications and present research at scientific conferences.
• Mentor research staff and trainees while supporting collaborative projects and laboratory research direction.

Requirements

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree required.
• Extensive experience in molecular and cellular biology and independent experimental design.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, mouse models, histology, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and quantitative image analysis is highly desirable.
• Peer-reviewed publications demonstrating the ability to conduct rigorous independent research.
• Strong scientific writing, presentation, organizational, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• A cover letter describing research interests, career goals, and motivation for joining the laboratory is required.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. in biology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, developmental biology, regenerative biology, neuroscience, bioengineering, or a related field.
• Experience writing fellowship applications or contributing to grant proposals.
