Salary: $67,282–$78,711 per year.

What you will do

• Design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret molecular, cellular, imaging, and animal-based studies in musculoskeletal regeneration.
• Develop hypotheses and establish experimental approaches involving cellular metabolism, mitochondrial homeostasis, ROS signaling, senescence, sensory nerve regulation, and regenerative healing.
• Generate reproducible data using molecular biology, cell biology, histology, microscopy, and mouse-based techniques.
• Analyze complex datasets, prepare publication-quality figures, write first-author manuscripts, and present findings at scientific conferences.
• Contribute to fellowship and grant applications, collaborative projects, and future research directions.
• Mentor research staff and trainees while promoting scientific rigor and reproducibility.

Requirements

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree.
• Strong record of scientific productivity demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications and independent research.
• Extensive experience in molecular and cellular biology, including experimental design, troubleshooting, and data interpretation.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, mouse models, histology, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and quantitative image analysis.
• Excellent scientific communication skills, including manuscript writing, figure preparation, and research presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment; a cover letter describing research interests and career goals is required.

Nice to have

• Background in biology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, developmental biology, regenerative biology, neuroscience, bioengineering, or a related field.
• Experience with advanced molecular techniques and fellowship or grant proposal writing.
• Strong leadership and mentoring experience.
