Regional Insurance Sales Manager (Life and Annuity)

Location: Needham, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annual base pay, plus performance incentives.

What you will do

• Manage a book of 100–200 active insurance advisors and grow sales within existing accounts.
• Prospect strategically, identify customer needs, and develop consultative sales and account management strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with independent agents, financial advisors, broker-dealers, and financial institutions.
• Develop sales proposals with internal support teams and manage opportunities through closing.
• Create sales plans, maintain forecasts, and communicate monthly sales performance data.
• Track insurance cases from submission through completion and support product and service planning.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of progressively responsible sales experience.
• Demonstrated history of exceeding sales goals and delivering exceptional performance.
• Experience selling or brokering life, annuity, long-term care, and disability insurance products is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, consultative selling, customer relationship, and account management skills.
• Experience building and managing a sales pipeline with a CRM solution.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, work ethic, and attention to detail.
