Location: Richland, Washington, United States; work is conducted predominantly onsite at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, with some remote support subject to approval.

What you will do
- Support RCRA compliance and evaluate waste management practices against applicable guidelines.
- Conduct regulatory inspections and independent evaluations of waste management operations and safety documentation.
- Prepare reports and compile regulator-ready compliance packages.
- Coordinate with regulators, stakeholders, and program personnel on compliance and waste management matters.
- Support project and contract management, project controls, regulatory compliance, waste management, and groundwater remediation activities for DOE EM Hanford.
- Identify and manage risks in a regulated nuclear cleanup environment.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of waste or environmental compliance experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
- HAZWOPER qualification.
- Experience with regulatory interpretation and data QA/QC.
- Strong attention to detail, risk awareness, and communication skills.
- Facility Clearance is required; a DOE clearance may be required based on the assigned task.
Nice to have
- Department of Energy experience.
- Environmental Management Sector experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
