Sr Lead (Packaging)

What you will do

• Back up the Production Supervisor and lead large groups of production associates.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department to achieve positive production results.
• Inspect production lines and conduct and document quality inspections for complex or critical products.
• Monitor job rates, complete work packets accurately, and coordinate case labels and production-line messages.
• Train production staff and process job-related information through computer systems.
• Classify reclaim, scrap, and damaged materials while maintaining a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• At least one year of related warehouse production experience or training.
• Ability to lead or supervise large groups of associates.
• Knowledge of quality standards, methods, and reporting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, multitasking, planning, and instruction-interpretation skills.
• Ability to work on the production floor or in a warehouse, including prolonged walking, standing, and bending and frequent lifting of 25 pounds or more.
