Medical Assistant with Full-Scope Limited X-Ray (LLR)

Location: 3295 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38111, United States. Full-time onsite schedule: Monday and Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; Tuesday through Thursday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM. No weekends, nights, or on-call responsibilities.

What you will do

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging across the full scope of the Tennessee LLR certification, including provider-ordered studies permitted under state regulations.
• Prepare and position patients, produce quality diagnostic images, and follow radiation safety standards.
• Maintain radiology documentation, logs, quality assurance activities, and equipment cleanliness and functionality.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, support clinical procedures and specimen collection, and maintain exam rooms.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, phone calls, patient flow, and front-office support.
• Deliver relationship-based patient care and concierge-level customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent Medical Assistant certification.
• Active Tennessee Limited License Radiology (LLR) certification with full-scope qualification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Recent medical-setting experience is preferred, or completion of an approved externship or internship program.
• Strong communication, patient care, customer service, and current immunization and health documentation.
