Medical Assistant - NH Neurospine - Full Time (Healthcare)

Location: Bedford, New Hampshire, United States; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Prepare patient charts by locating diagnostic results, urgent care reports, discharge summaries, and consultation or primary care reports.
• Room patients for provider visits by documenting chief complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, and tobacco history.
• Measure and document vital signs, height, weight, pulse oximetry, and other age- or condition-specific data.
• Collect, document, and process specimens using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Process prescription refills through telephone, electronic, or printed methods.
• Maintain clinical supplies and medication sample areas, including labeling, storage, and stock levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• For MA I: completion of an accredited medical assistant or training program with externship, or relevant healthcare training or experience.
• For MA II: at least three years of medical assistant experience.
• Relevant healthcare experience and ambulatory clinical experience are required or preferred depending on level.
• BLS authorization must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification is preferred for MA I and required for MA II.
