Medical Assistant - Concord Urogynecology - Full Time (Urogynecology)

Location: Concord - 246 Pleasant Street; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., day shift

What you will do

• Prepare visit charts by gathering diagnostic results, urgent care reports, discharge summaries, and consultation records.
• Room patients and document complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, tobacco history, LMP, and health maintenance information.
• Collect and process specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and document condition-specific screenings and measurements.
• Process prescription refills and medication or procedure prior authorizations according to established guidelines.
• Maintain clinical supplies and medication samples, including labeling, storage, and inventory levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• For MA I: completion of an accredited medical assistant program, an MA training program with externship, one year of relevant healthcare experience with formal training, or one year of prior medical assistant experience.
• For MA II: at least three years of medical assistant experience; CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required.
• Relevant healthcare experience is required; one to two years in an ambulatory clinical setting is preferred.
• BLS authorization must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
