Medical Assistant / LPN (Urology)

Location: Manchester - MOB (Suite 200), with clinical work in Manchester/Derry

What you will do

• Prepare visit charts and ensure diagnostic results, reports, summaries, and consult documentation are available to providers.
• Room patients by recording complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, tobacco history, LMP, and health maintenance information.
• Perform and document measurements, hearing and vision checks, respiratory testing, ECGs, and condition-specific screenings.
• Collect and process specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and complete venipuncture as needed.
• Administer medications and immunizations, process prescription refills, and manage prior authorizations.
• Maintain clinical supplies and medication sample areas according to labeling, storage, and stock-level requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• MA I candidates must complete an accredited MA program, an MA training program with externship, or have relevant healthcare training or medical assistant experience.
• MA II candidates must have at least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Relevant healthcare experience is required; ambulatory clinical care experience is preferred.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification is preferred for MA I and required for MA II.
• BLS authorization must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
