Senior Application Engineer

Location: Tokyo, Koto-ku, Japan; onsite customer service and machine installation required

What you will do

• Provide application and process development support for customers.
• Deliver onsite service, troubleshooting, machine installation, and customer buy-off support for EPS products in Japan.
• Conduct customer demonstrations and prepare application reports.
• Build customer relationships through regular calls and visits while providing pre- and post-sales technical advice.
• Train customers through technical presentations and demonstrations, and support the Japan sales team from an engineering perspective.
• Share customer feedback and technical issues with EPS factories in the US and Singapore, and collaborate with regional engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, leadership, and independent initiative skills.
• Good command of English required.
• Ability to build customer relationships through strong technical engineering skills.
• Ability to acquire the qualifications required for the engineering role.
• New college graduates committed to developing a professional engineering career are eligible.

Nice to have

• Approximately three years of field service engineering experience at a manufacturing company.
