Turbine Coordinator (Sr) - Generation Field Services - PSO /SWEPCO Service Territory (Power Generation)

Location: Jenks, Oklahoma, United States; field support may cover multiple generating stations and units across the fleet.

Salary: $98,993–$158,383 per year, plus a 12% annual target bonus and up to 24% maximum bonus based on total earnings.

What you will do

• Plan and lead major steam turbine, gas turbine, and generator outages, including scopes, schedules, milestones, critical paths, and return-to-service activities.
• Serve as project manager for maintenance and capital projects, managing execution plans, resources, budgets, risks, scope changes, and stakeholder communications.
• Provide technical leadership for turbines, generators, boiler feed pumps, valves and controls, bearings, seals, and auxiliary systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and equipment evaluations involving vibration, leakage, thermal growth, alignment, performance degradation, and mechanical failures.
• Coordinate OEM representatives, vendors, contractors, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain; oversee safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.
• Lead risk management, field inspections, quality reviews, FME planning, safety activities, regulatory support, and continuous improvement across the generation fleet.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Business, or a related technical field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• At least 8 years of power generation, turbine-generator maintenance, outage management, project management, or related utility experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading major maintenance outages and large multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of steam turbine, gas turbine, generator, and auxiliary system maintenance practices.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and OEM service organizations, with proficiency in scheduling, cost control, risk management, and project planning tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and safety skills; medium physical work capacity is required.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• OEM turbine-generator maintenance and utility power generation experience.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar outage budgets.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance, vibration analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Experience with combined-cycle, fossil, and renewable generation assets.
