Senior Turbine Reliability Specialist (Steam Turbine Generators)

What you will do

• Develop and execute major and minor turbine generator outage plans with facility teams.
• Ensure QA/QC during turbine generator disassembly and reassembly through inspection practices and hold points.
• Prepare condition assessment reports and executive summaries covering priorities, risks, recommendations, and long-term outage planning.
• Coordinate required resources, parts, shop requirements, suppliers, and vendors for outage and replacement work.
• Review turbine generator replacement scopes, component design modifications, and technical standards.
• Provide technical guidance for unscheduled repairs and issues, including shop inspection coverage during major outages.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in steam turbine generator major overhauls, turbine operation, shop repair methodology, and field supervision of millwrights and machinists; 10 years required without a four-year degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical documents, manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong technical report writing, presentation, organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including spreadsheets, modeling, and pivot tables.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and effective communication with management and employees at different organizational levels.
