Location: Onsite in Chester, Pennsylvania, USA. Monday through Friday, with some evenings, weekends, off-hours, and on-call assignments as needed.
Salary: $125,200–$179,000 USD per year.

What you will do
- Lead safe, compliant, reliable, and efficient plant operations while maintaining environmental, health, safety, and permit compliance.
- Manage, coach, and develop operations personnel to achieve plant and business objectives.
- Oversee boiler, turbine, generator, solid-fuel combustion, materials-handling, and thermo-mechanical treatment operations.
- Coordinate daily activities across departments and troubleshoot equipment and process issues.
- Conduct operational studies, audits, inspections, and continuous-improvement initiatives; update manuals and procedures.
- Maintain emergency readiness, oversee technical training, and prepare operational reports for leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in an industrial or power-generating environment.
- Experience with thermo-mechanical treatment or solid-waste processing, equipment, and operational controls.
- Hands-on knowledge of high-pressure boilers, power-plant processes, turbines, generators, rotating equipment, electrical generation systems, conveyors, cranes, and hoppers.
- B.S. in Engineering preferred; relevant plant operations leadership experience may substitute for the degree.
- Experience with outages, electrical and control systems, solid-fuel combustion, and materials-handling processes.
- ASME and QRO/CFO certifications preferred; required certifications must be obtained within six months of employment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a specialty chemical facility, coal-fired power plant, or environment with significant material handling.
- Experience developing technical training programs and applying continuous-improvement methodologies.
