What you will do

• Use CAD software, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D, to draft survey plans and exhibits.
• Prepare base mapping, topographic and contour data, ALTA, boundary, utility, easement, and right-of-way survey deliverables.
• Calculate and plot deeds, plans, and survey documentation.
• Produce survey exhibits, plans, plats, and other drafting materials.
• Follow quality processes and procedures while supporting internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with general office, administrative, and team support tasks.

Requirements

• Prior drafting experience with landowner plat production, easements, rights-of-way, and survey plan preparation.
• At least 3 years of Survey Drafter, Data Technician, or CAD experience preferred.
• Knowledge of survey technology and basic civil engineering concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication, mechanical, and computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; Certified Survey Technician III or IV, LSIT, or a bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited survey curriculum preferred.
