Site Civil Engineer

Salary: $81,585–$116,550 per year

What you will do

• Design civil engineering projects, including site layouts, grading and drainage plans, paving plans, and site utilities.
• Prepare stormwater management designs, calculations, and reports in accordance with local agency standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and architectural project leads.
• Prepare specifications, contract documents, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Support procurement of site development approvals and permits.
• Apply engineering judgment to complex assignments and significant design procedures.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of relevant civil-site design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and previous general civil engineering experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, and other applicable civil engineering software.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position location, such as PE or P.Eng.
• Leadership, communication, and active collaboration skills.
