Field Service Engineer (Security and Detection)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; 4–5 days per week in the field visiting customers

Salary: $43.12–$67.37 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits

What you will do

• Install, implement, maintain, repair, and support integrated security and detection systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, operating system, and product performance issues.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations that affect system performance.
• Proactively address equipment and software issues to prevent unplanned business interruptions.
• Manage product escalations and collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams.
• Deliver technical training, maintenance workshops, and on-site equipment calibration when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physical science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, service technician position, process engineering, or customer-facing field work.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for access to customer sites.
• Valid passport, valid US driver’s license, and ability to travel overnight up to 75% of the time.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work remotely between customer visits while maintaining compliance with quality standards and managing customer expectations.
