Systems Engineer (SoHo Devices)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; no remote or telework allowed

Projected annual compensation: $110,204.91–$179,802.75

What you will do

• Work with developers on operational capabilities for SoHo devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Review system architecture, design documentation, and security processes.
• Develop and administer requirements for cyber tools.
• Assess information systems to support validation and verification.
• Coordinate technical strategic plans and cyber strategies with inter-agency partners.
• Support operations governance and develop CONOPS documentation.

Requirements

• Active and maintainable TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience, master’s degree with 6–8 years, PhD with 3–5 years, or equivalent experience.
• Degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience developing documented, actionable, measurable, testable, and traceable requirements.
• Experience analyzing technical risks, independently assessing projects, and recommending improvements.
• Experience developing CONOPS diagrams and forecasting technologies related to a sponsor’s mission area.
