TL;DR
Senior SQL Database Developer (SQL Server/T-SQL): Creating and optimizing database queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, tables, indexes, and constraints for large datasets with an accent on query performance, SSIS-based ETL, and execution-plan analysis. Focus on tuning complex SQL code, improving database functionality, and supporting data migration workflows.

Location: Atlanta, GA, with work covering customer locations in Phoenix, AZ; Little Rock, AR; and Brown Deer, WI

hirify.global is hiring for a direct client and its customer program teams.

What you will do

  • Create queries against large datasets.
  • Develop stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Extract, transform, and load data using Import/Export wizards and SSIS.
  • Tune queries and optimize database code by analyzing execution plans.
  • Develop tables, indexes, and constraints.
  • Research ways to improve existing database functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of SQL Server database development experience, including query optimization, performance tuning, and index utilization.
  • 5+ years of T-SQL experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Experience with SQL Server 2008, 2012, or 2014; SSIS; Query Analyzer; and Profiler.

Nice to have

  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Data migration experience using SSIS.
