SQL & PHP Developer (Laravel)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; in-office position

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, modify, test, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Support data-driven applications, business reporting, dashboards, analytics, KPIs, and forecasting.
• Analyze data relationships, dependencies, business logic, and downstream application usage.
• Investigate unexpected query results and improve data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
• Review and progressively enhance PHP application functionality, including Laravel-based development.
• Document technical changes and participate in source control, code review, testing, and deployment practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of SQL Server experience, including joins, subqueries, aggregates, conditional logic, and data manipulation.
• 1+ year of PHP web development experience and 1+ year of Laravel experience.
• Understanding of relational databases, stored procedures, data normalization, and query performance.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SDLC, object-oriented analysis and design, and revision control systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, organizational, and customer service skills.
