SQL Developer (Microsoft SQL Server)

Location: San Diego, California 92121, United States; onsite

Duration: 12-month temporary-to-hire position

What you will do

• Design and develop database objects and procedural code for transactional and data warehousing systems.
• Build ETL programs to extract, transform, and load data into target systems.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services reports.
• Maintain database and ETL source code and ensure successful builds in continuous integration environments.
• Diagnose and resolve database performance issues.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database code and Reporting Services development.
• Hands-on experience with database queries, ETL, and associated code in Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Experience with transactional and dimensional database schemas.
• C2C arrangements are not accepted.

Nice to have

• Experience with Embarcadero ER/Studio, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Visual Studio.
