Machinist-Tool & Die (CNC Manufacturing)

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa, United States; onsite manufacturing facility

Salary: Starting at $33.35 per hour, plus a third-shift differential

What you will do

• Operate and maintain CNC grinders, lathes, Bridgeport mills, welders, and plasma cutters.
• Machine tools and dies from blueprints using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, pumps, and production equipment.
• Refurbish and rebuild tooling for can-making machinery.
• Calculate raw material requirements, catalog tooling, and perform quality checks against manufacturing tolerances.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and operate plant equipment including forklifts, lifts, and booms.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; trade school training is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
