Tool & Die Apprentice (Manufacturing)

Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin, United States; onsite at the Brookfield Tool & Die Plant. Flexible availability for first- and second-shift work is required.

Salary: $29.91 per hour; actual pay may vary based on qualifications, experience, business needs, and location.

What you will do

• Operate CNC and manual lathes, mills, grinders, saws, drill presses, and other tool-shop equipment.
• Generate 3D CAD models and blueprints for tooling projects.
• Disassemble, assemble, and inspect tooling before shipment.
• Perform precision measurements on in-process tooling and components to meet print specifications.
• Plan and track time for specific work orders.
• Follow industrial safety practices and train with Tool and Die Leads and Makers across the shop floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to learn the Tool & Die trade through hands-on work.
• Growth mindset and willingness to improve.
• Basic mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to work onsite in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and flexibility for first- and second-shift schedules.

Nice to have

• Ability to disassemble tooling.
• Experience or aptitude with mechanical work.
