Software Engineer 1 (Frontend)

Salary: $52.46–$107.37 per hour, before benefits.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, enhance, and integrate complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new features, debug existing software, and resolve software problem reports.
• Develop algorithms, database queries, and data repository interfaces to meet functional and performance standards.
• Review software components, execute tests, and document test results and system behavior.
• Contribute to system design decisions, software reuse, documentation, and development process improvements.

Requirements

• United States citizenship and an appropriate security clearance are required due to federal contract requirements.
• TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• Seven years of software engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, Vue, React, Vite, Node, NPM, and Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with video playback technologies such as HTML5 video, Vidstack, video.js, HLS, or DASH.
