Frontend Software Engineer

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year

What you will do

• Develop reusable, production-grade Angular UI components.
• Build responsive and interactive frontend applications with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Integrate user interfaces with backend services and AWS components, including API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Optimize frontend performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and caching.
• Collaborate across functions within Agile delivery teams and maintain technical documentation.
• Support version control, automated builds, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph are required.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on Angular experience and strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Sass, UI design principles, human-computer interaction, and UX practices.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, Agile methodologies, AWS integrations, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jest, Cypress, Karma, Jasmine, Angular Material, or Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of WCAG and experience implementing accessible UI components.
• Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Experience with React or Vue, backend technologies such as Java, Python, or Node, and AWS EKS or Step Functions.
• Experience maintaining large-scale, data-driven, multi-tenant frontend platforms.
