Resin Operator (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and control systems in continuous and batch production processes.
• Blend tanks and load or unload raw materials and finished products while following operating procedures.
• Perform SAP transactions for inventory, production tracking, and maintenance notifications.
• Conduct in-process sampling and laboratory analysis, record batch data, and maintain quality documentation.
• Follow EH&S requirements, use PPE and respirators, issue and monitor work permits, and participate in audits, drills, and incident investigations.
• Assist with routine maintenance, shutdown and startup procedures, root cause analyses, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in an industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics, and operating procedures; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness and physical ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime, including lifting up to 55 pounds, frequent climbing, respirator use, and confined-space entry.
• Ability to work on-site in Missoula, Montana, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical manufacturing or forklift operation.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Vocational or post-secondary technical education.
