Process Operator (Chemical Manufacturing)

hirify.global operates chemical manufacturing facilities and is hiring for its Operations Division.

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, control, and adjust process equipment and conditions, including temperature, pressure, level, and flow parameters.
• Conduct field rounds, inspect equipment, collect process samples, and adjust operations based on laboratory results.
• Operate Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and PLC control systems.
• Complete operational, EH&S, maintenance, and compliance records accurately and on time.
• Perform equipment cleaning, lockout/tagout activities, housekeeping, and maintenance support.
• Participate in safety training, emergency response activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of chemical plant experience may substitute for a related degree; plant operator experience is preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and internet-based systems.
• Strong safety, compliance, communication, attention-to-detail, problem-solving, teamwork, and recordkeeping skills.
• Must have an unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or certification in Process Technology, Chemical Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience operating DCS- or PLC-controlled processes.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or petrochemical operations.
• Maintenance support, lockout/tagout, process troubleshooting, Fire Brigade, or emergency response experience.
