Chemical Operator - RH (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States; onsite chemical manufacturing plant. The role follows a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour day or night shifts and requires work in outdoor weather conditions.

What you will do

• Monitor, adjust, document, and communicate plant process and quality conditions.
• Transfer materials between drums, totes, bags, tankers, reactors, tanks, and other containers using diaphragm, gear, and centrifugal pumps.
• Move and connect chemical hoses and maneuver containers for filling and storage.
• Package and stack 55-lb. bags of product onto pallets.
• Respond to operating deviations and complete process documentation in accordance with site SOPs.
• Participate in Zero Harm and SIM programs and follow required safety procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing plant or similar environment.
• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States.
• Ability to read and complete batch sheets and operational documentation, learn basic chemistry and math, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and work on stairs, ladders, and platforms.
• Physical ability to lift 55-lb. bags and stand, walk, bend, stretch, and move equipment for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Education beyond a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with materials regulated under RCRA.
• Hazardous material handling and waste transfer experience.
