Production Operator (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Los Angeles, California, USA; onsite chemical manufacturing facility

Salary: $35.70 per hour at the time of hire, with step progression based on qualification.

What you will do

• Safely operate manufacturing equipment and execute batch production processes according to batch records, work instructions, production schedules, and SOPs.
• Verify raw materials, product identity, lot numbers, equipment readiness, and documentation before production activities.
• Charge and transfer materials, monitor process conditions, collect samples, and perform equipment changeovers, cleaning, startups, and shutdowns.
• Complete batch records, production logs, inventory transactions, and other documentation supporting quality and traceability.
• Inspect equipment, identify maintenance needs, support preventive maintenance, and participate in reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Shipping, Supply Chain, and EHS teams.

Requirements

• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States is required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of hands-on production manufacturing experience operating equipment and producing finished products.
• Experience following manufacturing processes, work instructions, batch records, and SOPs, with the ability to complete production documentation accurately.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and effective teamwork.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift, overtime, weekends, holidays, and alternative schedules; production operates 24 hours a day, five days a week and may transition to seven days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical, batch, or process manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Forklift certification or powered industrial equipment experience.
