EHS Coordinator

Location: Site-based role in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand; full working rights in New Zealand required

What you will do

• Maintain accurate and accessible health, safety and environmental documentation, records, policies, and monthly reports.
• Run health and safety committee meetings, promote safe behaviours, and follow up actions to completion.
• Maintain hazard and risk registers, lead risk assessments, and verify that controls are effective.
• Track audit, inspection, and compliance findings and drive corrective actions through verified close-out.
• Support incident reporting and investigations, including root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Manage contractor safety processes and support environmental compliance, hazardous substance records, monitoring, and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Relevant Health, Safety and Environment qualification or equivalent practical experience in a site-based role.
• Experience maintaining HSE documentation, records, and monthly reporting systems.
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory HSE compliance requirements and their application on site.
• Experience with risk assessments, risk registers, audits, inspections, corrective action plans, and incident investigations.
• Experience managing contractor inductions, safety plans, method statements, and on-site compliance monitoring.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand with full working rights.
