DevOps Engineer II (Embedded Systems)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated unit, integration, and system-level testing frameworks.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Artifactory, and related tools.
• Improve software quality through code reviews, static analysis, and test coverage metrics.
• Collaborate with 7–10 software engineers to identify, debug, and resolve defects.
• Manage build and deployment processes for Linux-based systems.
• Document testing and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI and scripting with Bash or Python.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and Linux-based development environments.
• Understanding of Docker and Git.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience testing FPGA-related software or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus or the ELK Stack.
