Data & AI Engineering Internship

Starting pay: $29.00–$50.00 per hour

What you will do

• Build and maintain cloud-based data and analytics platforms and pipelines.
• Acquire, cleanse, transform, and publish data from diverse sources.
• Develop data models, feature engineering capabilities, ETL/ELT pipelines, and distributed computing architectures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and advanced models through proof-of-concept and experimental initiatives.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize algorithmic solutions using cloud-native services.
• Support data governance, data quality, metadata, security, and master data management activities.

Requirements

• Availability for a 12-week summer 2027 internship from mid/late May through early August.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, data engineering, data science, applied mathematics, statistics, analytics, or a related field.
• Programming experience with Python, SQL, R, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI and with data management practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
• Coursework or experience in data analysis, data management, or related fields.
• Experience solving complex problems with innovative solutions.
