Microsoft Power Platform & AI Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Reston, Virginia; must commute to the Reston office at least two days per week. US citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance or higher is required as applicable.

What you will do

• Participate in Agile software delivery activities, including planning, demonstrations, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Build Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, SharePoint solutions, and other low-code applications based on business and client requirements.
• Explore Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Azure AI services, generative AI, AI agents, and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, business stakeholders, and business analysts to gather requirements and demonstrate solutions.
• Support solution development, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, research, administration, and platform governance.
• Develop a team-based technology project from problem definition through prototyping, testing, and presentation to company leadership.

Requirements

• Be a rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, data science, cybersecurity, business analytics, or a related technology field.
• Demonstrate interest in Microsoft technologies, cloud computing, application development, automation, data, or artificial intelligence.
• Have familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, or Microsoft Copilot.
• Have exposure to application development, scripting, low-code development, data analysis, or automation, plus coursework or hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, or PowerShell.
• Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Be able to commute to the Reston, Virginia office a minimum of two days per week and meet the US citizenship and clearance requirements.
