TL;DR
Data Engineer, DA&AI Co-Op (Generative AI/Agentic AI): Building and testing AI agents that automate internal workflows and improve data retrieval in a modern Databricks environment with an accent on prompt engineering, model performance, and enterprise integrations. Focus on identifying hallucinations, grounding model outputs, researching agentic frameworks, and documenting AI architectures and governance standards.
Location: Camden, New Jersey, United States; onsite full-time

What you will do
- Prototype and test AI agents for internal workflow automation and data retrieval.
- Provide feedback and tune prompts to improve the accuracy and reliability of agent outputs.
- Monitor model performance, identify hallucinations and inconsistencies, and recommend grounding improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
- Research emerging agentic AI frameworks and document model schemas, API integrations, and governance standards.
Requirements
- Current graduate student in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Foundational programming skills in Python and an understanding of SQL.
- Familiarity with AI concepts through coursework or personal projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical curiosity, and ability to adapt to new tools.
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Camden, New Jersey.
