AI Innovation Development Program (AIIDP) Summer Internship

Location: Raleigh, NC, United States. Hybrid arrangement with a minimum of three days per week in the Raleigh office, including the team's designated anchor day; additional in-office participation may be required for program events, team activities, or business needs.

Compensation: $25.00–$27.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Support the development and testing of AI-powered and data-driven solutions.
• Analyze data, identify patterns, and surface opportunities or insights.
• Explore concepts, improve existing tools, and contribute to assigned project deliverables.
• Document learnings, summarize findings, and communicate project progress.
• Participate in discussions, brainstorming sessions, demonstrations, and project updates.
• Gain exposure to AI product development, risk management, and responsible AI practices covering ethics, governance, privacy, and business value.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or technical field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or Information Systems.
• Exposure to programming, data analysis, or technical problem-solving through coursework, projects, research, extracurricular activities, or personal learning.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar programming and analytics tools.
• Experience using generative AI tools through coursework, projects, hackathons, research, or extracurricular activities.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States and must not now or in the future require visa sponsorship, including H-1B, CPT, OPT, or STEM authorization.
