Financial Systems Analyst

Location: San Francisco, California; candidates must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the U.S., and not require current or future visa sponsorship. Occasional travel to firm offices and meetings may be required.

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annual pay range for California, New York, and Washington, DC; final offer depends on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Aderant financial system across billing, collections, accounts payable, general ledger, and client/matter management modules.
• Troubleshoot application issues, investigate root causes, and coordinate resolutions with senior analysts, IT, vendors, and User Support.
• Enhance financial workflows and processes and contribute to solution design discussions.
• Develop and maintain standard financial reports and queries.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices to support operational continuity.
• Support integrations, system upgrades, testing cycles, and financial systems projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 1–3+ years of experience supporting enterprise financial applications, data processes, or related technical and operational roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
• Must reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the U.S., and not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aderant or another enterprise financial or ERP application.
• Experience with SSRS, Power BI, or similar reporting platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL and basic query troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, or ETL processes.
• Experience in professional services or a law firm environment.
