Technical Service Manager (Pest Control)

Location: Springfield, Illinois, United States; travel within the US required 50–75% of the workweek.

Base pay: $73,000–$111,000 per year, with potential variation based on location, skills, education, experience, overtime, incentives, commissions, and route assignment.

What you will do

• Monitor service performance against KPIs and collaborate with Operations leaders, National Accounts, and Sales to resolve performance issues.
• Conduct site assessments covering quality, structural, and sanitation factors to identify infestation root causes.
• Develop SMART goals and corrective action plans, then support Operations with implementation and issue resolution.
• Coach Branch leaders on pest management competency and on developing frontline Technicians and sales colleagues.
• Improve technical protocols, service delivery processes, customer retention, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
• Identify and support people, process, and technology projects, industry practices, technical standards, and sales enablement materials.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related structural pest management experience, including 2 or more years of field experience.
• At least 1 year of management experience.
• Strong project management, change management, written and verbal communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Board Certified Entomologist (BCE) or ACE qualification.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence.
• Ability to travel within the United States 50–75% of the workweek and perform physical field duties, including climbing, lifting, standing, bending, and crawling.

• Four-year college degree in biological science, entomology, or a related science.
• Board Certified Entomologist (BCE) or ACE certification.
