Commercial Service Manager (Pest Control)

Location: Long Island, United States; onsite branch and field service duties, including driving and servicing pest control routes.

Base pay: $57,000–$92,000 per year, excluding potential overtime, incentives, commissions, performance pay, and route assignment adjustments.

What you will do

• Direct, monitor, and motivate the branch service department to deliver quality customer service.
• Provide current training for service and sales personnel.
• Inspect termite and pest control work for compliance with company standards.
• Respond to customer complaints and contact pending cancellations to retain accounts.
• Track the number of customers remaining to be serviced each month.
• Service pest control routes when necessary and maintain inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a two- or four-year degree is strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence required.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports; and communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• Ability to calculate basic figures and apply algebra and geometry concepts, solve practical problems, and interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
• Knowledge of dry chemicals and pesticides, plus familiarity with Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
