Pest Technician (Pest Control)

What you will do

• Inspect residential properties to identify pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved chemicals, baits, and traps in accordance with safety standards.
• Educate customers on prevention methods and recommend ways to reduce future infestations.
• Build customer relationships, schedule appointments, support sales, and develop new customers.
• Maintain pest control equipment and keep supplies properly stocked.
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Clean-shaven face to ensure that respirators can seal properly.
• Basic reading, writing, verbal communication, and math skills, including the ability to follow product-mixing instructions.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in confined spaces, around chemicals, animals, insects, heights, mechanical parts, and electrical current while using required PPE.
