Pest Technician I (Pest Control)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States; field work at residential properties, both indoors and outdoors.

What you will do

• Inspect residential properties to identify pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved chemicals, baits, traps, and other pest control products in accordance with safety standards.
• Educate customers about pest prevention and recommend ways to reduce future infestations.
• Build customer relationships, schedule and confirm appointments, and support sales to existing and new customers.
• Maintain, stock, and safely operate pest control equipment and a company-provided service vehicle.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations for pest control products and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, related training or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• Clean-shaven face to ensure respirators can seal properly.
• Basic reading, writing, verbal communication, and math skills.
• Availability Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, around animals, insects, chemicals, heights, mechanical parts, and electrical current while using required PPE.
