Service Manager

Location: Manhattan, United States; onsite branch and field work required

Salary: $57,000–$92,000 per year

What you will do

• Direct, monitor, and motivate the branch service department to deliver quality customer service.
• Train branch service and sales personnel on current procedures and practices.
• Inspect termite and pest control work for compliance with company standards.
• Respond to customer complaints and contact pending cancellations to retain accounts.
• Track monthly service demand, service pest routes when necessary, and maintain inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a two- or four-year degree is strongly preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence required.
• Ability to read technical and safety documents, write routine reports, communicate effectively, and apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Knowledge of dry chemicals and pesticides, with familiarity with Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, operate a motor vehicle, use hand tools, work at heights and in confined spaces, and handle chemical and PPE-related hazards.
