Maintenance Technician - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; onsite, 2nd and 3rd shifts

What you will do

• Perform preventive, predictive, emergency, and basic maintenance on industrial production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install, move, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, including compressors, HVAC units, lighting, fans, and restroom facilities.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineering with process and equipment improvements.
• Communicate with Tool and Die, Engineering, supervisors, and external vendors about projects and repair issues.
• Use hand tools, power tools, machine tools, precision measuring equipment, drawings, schematics, work orders, and manufacturer manuals.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting and informed decision-making skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and meet operational deadlines.
• Self-motivated, safety-conscious, quality-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work overtime regularly and with minimal notice when required by business needs.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Ability to fabricate, weld, or machine parts.
