Maintenance Technician (Weekend day shift - Fri,Sat.Sun)

Location: Newport, Vermont, United States; onsite weekend day shift, Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
• Install, improve, clean, and repair equipment while maintaining spare-parts inventory.
• Fabricate parts as needed and schedule external vendors for facility and equipment repairs.
• Support Engineering, R&D, and Production with projects, process improvements, and upcoming products.
• Document maintenance work in the Megamation system and follow safe maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal electrical or mechanical training is beneficial.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and machine operating procedures.
• Experience with carpentry, welding, fabrication, machining, or machine-shop equipment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, collaborate with Engineering, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, work at varying heights, and use required personal protective equipment.
