Engineering Manager (Onsite)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to software development professionals.
• Manage team capacity, execution, project scope, delivery timelines, and operational metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement through productivity assessments and metric-based insights.
• Make decisions across current and future product roadmaps and lead changes in engineering processes and strategy.
• Establish and manage engineering budgets while developing the team's technical knowledge and skills.
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, including availability outside standard business hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of technical experience in software development.
• At least 3 years of experience managing large, complex projects.
• At least 2 years of experience leading technical staff.
• At least 2 years of full-lifecycle software development experience using Agile methods.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and highly available web and mobile applications in the cloud.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and message queue architecture.
• Understanding of cloud-based SaaS architectures, including elasticity, distributed state, availability, and scalability.
• Object-oriented design expertise and strong analytical, design, and troubleshooting skills.
