Software Engineering Manager

Location: Metro Detroit, United States; hybrid work with occasional local and out-of-state travel required

Salary: $157,000–$185,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, and rollout of core business applications and data and analytics solutions.
• Manage software project resources, scope, timelines, budgets, implementation planning, and mobilization.
• Participate in strategy and roadmap engagements and evaluate products, frameworks, technologies, and implementation approaches.
• Facilitate communication between client business and IT stakeholders, program managers, team leads, architects, technical leads, and developers.
• Drive full-lifecycle delivery from discovery and planning through implementation and launch.

Requirements

• Experience managing and leading software projects using Agile principles and methodologies.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise business applications, integration solutions, or data solutions.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong people, process, organization, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including locally and potentially out of state.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
