Manager, Software Engineering (Hybrid) (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid, Plano, Texas, United States. Full-time, exempt position with approximately 10% domestic travel. Relocation is not available for this position.

Salary: $123,700–$210,300 per year, with eligibility for quarterly bonuses or commission.

What you will do

• Lead a team of software and quality engineers across stateside and offshore resources.
• Ensure software projects meet quality, timeline, cost, client, and business requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on scope, commitments, release timelines, and project variables.
• Act as an escalation point for team and production issues and communicate progress and impediments.
• Support internal and external deployments and release management.
• Define and enforce development strategies, standards, policies, tools, and procedures across the software development life cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, information systems, software engineering, or relevant experience.
• 5–7 years of experience managing Agile software engineering teams building SaaS products, with a record of on-time delivery.
• Experience delivering software products using Microsoft technologies.
• Deep understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies, web development, and tools for issue tracking, builds, delivery, documentation, and release management.
• Ability to hire, coach, develop, and manage the performance of engineering staff.
