Project Manager II (Manufacturing)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Work takes place in an office and manufacturing environment, with occasional travel between hirify.global facilities and possible international travel; a valid passport is required.

What you will do

• Lead multiple development and manufacturing projects from contract award through delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, changes, and reporting.
• Serve as the primary interface between customers and internal project stakeholders, including Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations.
• Coordinate transitions between Business Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, and delivery teams.
• Facilitate project reviews, customer meetings, team meetings, and executive status reporting.
• Translate end-user needs into formal system requirements and support customer engagements, proposals, sales opportunities, and industry events.
• Improve PMO processes, workflows, templates, documentation, and project delivery practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of project management experience, including demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams and complex technical or manufactured-product development projects.
• Experience working with American, Canadian, North American, and international customers, plus experience in negotiation and managing multiple projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, presentation, listening, and technical-information skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• English is required for communication with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and partners outside Quebec and for using English-language documents and tools.
