Estimated starting salary: $82,039.23–$112,803.95 per year.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures for complex aerospace and defense systems.
  • Conduct functional, performance, environmental, system, subsystem, and component-level testing.
  • Analyze test data and prepare comprehensive test reports and briefings.
  • Identify, document, troubleshoot, and help resolve issues and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine test requirements and methodologies.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment and participate in internal and external meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field, with 2+ years of test engineering or related experience; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Understanding of test and evaluation principles, engineering practices, requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
  • Experience or exposure to planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation activities.
  • Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and troubleshoot logically.
  • Current and active United States Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods, regularly lift up to 25 lbs, and travel occasionally.

Nice to have

  • Experience with testing equipment, testing standards, and manual or automated testing.
  • Experience preparing complex test plans, procedures, and reports demonstrating compliance with system requirements.
  • Product and quality assurance experience, including product non-conformances.
  • Certification testing experience with organizations such as FAA, NASA, or DoD.
  • Aerospace and defense industry experience.
